Online Entry Form

Complete the electronic submission form and upload your artwork or poetry electronically. Files must be PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG and less than 10MB. 

Submit Your Entry

Art and poetry entries can be submitted using the Online Entry Form. The form has an upload function for photos or scans of student art/poetry. Files must be PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG, and less than 10 MB (one entry/form). Our contest grows each year and in 2025, we received over 1,300 individual art or poetry pieces!  Processing these entries is made much easier for our staff if submitted using the Online Entry Form.

The contest deadline is February 1st (mailed entries should be sent prior to this date to ensure that our office receives and has time to process entries for judging). Printable copies of the student and facilitator forms can be downloaded below.

2026 Regional River of Words Contests

Regional contests are now closed.  Students can still submit entries to the state-wide contest using the entry form links and files above.  Entries will be accepted until February 1, 2026!!
