Climate Resilience Workshop: WET, WILD, & PLT

The training will introduce climate guides from Project WET, WILD, and Learning Tree which include 31 activities to incorporate climate change topics into your lesson plans or programs. Activites are created with middle and high school students in mind.
Registration fee is $35 and includes workshop materials, activity guides and snacks. Participants will need to bring a lunch. Registration deadline is November 18.
Climate change is a complex topic that can be intimidating to teach. However, understandingclimate, including the ways it is changing and how that impacts the environment, is crucial tomaking informed decisions and building resilience. This training will introduce climate guidesfrom Projects WET, WILD and Learning Tree which include 31 activities to incorporate climatechange topics into your lesson plans or programs. This training is open to formal and non-formal educators and activities are created with middle and high school age students in mind.
